Branching scenarios are interactive learning experiences where learners make decisions that lead to different outcomes. Unlike linear content, scenarios immerse learners in realistic workplace situations where choices have consequences — building critical thinking, judgment, and decision-making skills.

Effective scenarios follow established scenario-based learning principles: they present an authentic context, offer meaningful choices (not obvious right/wrong answers), provide natural consequences rather than punitive feedback, and allow learners to recover from mistakes. Research shows this approach improves knowledge transfer to real job performance.

This tool generates branching scenario trees with multiple decision points, realistic dialogue, and instructional feedback at each node. Scenarios can be exported and adapted for e-learning authoring tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or custom web-based training platforms.
